Kanban is an agile process model in software development. Unlike Scrum, Kanban does not have iterations, but tasks are continuously edited by the team. The goal of Kanban is to limit the amount of work that has started at the same time, to make bottlenecks visible in the workflow, and thus to reduce the cycle times. In genereal, all tasks on a kanban board are divided into to do, work in progress and done. Each team member keeps taking on new tasks as soon as his tasks are done.
