Hybrid

cplace Glossary

What is Hybrid?

The noun hybrid and the adjective hybrid refer to something bundled, crossed or mixed. In technology, hybrid means a system in which two technologies are combined. The special feature lies in the fact that the elements brought together already represent solutions in themselves, but new desired features can be created by bringing them together. Hybrid project management is the combination of two or more methods to manage a project.

In cplace, users can combine different methods. Traditional waterfall models with work distribution structures, tasks and resource assignments, interdependencies, and Gantt status and progress tracking graphs are available, as well as agile or scrum-based techniques.
